KS2 Curriculum

Our curriculum is based on the national curriculum for key stage 2, with work differentiated appropriately according to each individual pupil’s needs.

During the week, maths and English will be taught on a daily basis, with the emphasis being on learning through a themed approach and through practical activities. A text will be selected half termly which will often be available in film format as well, e.g. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Hobbit, which will form the basis for most of our teaching.

Pupils will also be encouraged to develop their creative sides with extensive opportunities for art, design and technology and food technology.
